I am really loving all of these new Pokémon.
I think Misdreavus' evolution is something I will train in Diamond. Its stats are good for a special sweeper, plus it looks like a pissed off witch and I think that's totally rad. Since they changed the attacks (to make sense), Shadow Ball is now a special attack, which makes me want to, want to dance. Honestly, all the new Ghost type Pokémon make me happy. A few days before they started discovering new Pokémon, I was talking to Pokémon Master of Earth Joe Sunrider about how I wanted some Ghost/some-form-of-element types and sure enough, we have Ghost/Ice and Ghost/Electric now. The Ghost/Flying hot air balloon wins the award for most hot air balloon like Pokémon of all time too. Previous winners include Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, and oddly enough... Igglybuff.
After seeing all of the final evolutions of new starters, I am going to go with the water penguin... who I shall call "Pengin" (in honor of South Park's Chinpokomon) until I find out his American name. I like Pengin's final evolution a lot. It's like, a robot/penguin/James Bond. Too cool.
The Poison/Fighting frog is cool. I think we need more Pokémon that resemble frogs. That's my official stance on that and you can quote me.
Also, props to Nintendo for throwing some more Eevee-olutions our way. A grass type just seems practical (since they've had the Leaf Stone since RBY), but better late than never. The ice one is kinda, eh okay. Squirtle came up with an awesome name for it, Glaceon. I have a bad ass name for the grass one... Natureon. I like that name a lot. If they name it Natureon, I'll do a back-flip over a shark tank and into a tub of Green Apple Jones Soda then drink it all and pee off a pier with my closest friends peeing right next to me while The Karate Kid is playing on a screen in front of us. It'll be THAT awesome.
Bippa's evolution is Normal/Water. How incredibly odd.
